Are you looking for a lightweight 24-inch bike? With its lightweight frame and classic design, the Academy Grade 5 children’s bike is a real eye-catcher amongst teenagers! Weighing just 8.2 kg, the bike is easy for a child to handle and offers greater riding enjoyment thanks to its precise cornering and acceleration. The bike is fitted with an 8-speed Shimano Claris derailleur and V-brakes. Academy children’s bikes are designed in collaboration with specialists and feature an ultra-light frame that meets the latest ergonomic requirements. Academy bikes are 40 per cent lighter than the average child’s weight. Short cranks and an upright riding position allow the child to put their feet down at any time whilst still ensuring an ergonomic knee position whilst cycling.
